Stigler is the County Seat of Haskell County in Oklahoma. It had a pre-Revival population of around 2,700. At a two-hours walk West at 6 and a half miles along Oklahoma State Highway 9 is the tiny town of Whitefield, with a pre-Revival population of 400. It has a K-8 Public School.
North by northeast of Stigler by about 16 miles, along the banks of the widest expanse of the Arkansas river, is the tiny town of Tamaha, with a pre-Revival population of at least 180.
Twelve miles to the East along Oklahoma State Highway 9 is Keota, with a pre-revival population of 580.
